What does Chatsie do?
Chatsie is a phone provider. We supply our customers with the following over a 24 month contract which costs £19 per month (including VAT):
- A new Android 13 handset, 6.8” screen, 256GB.
- A screen protector and black phone case.
- Unlimited UK calls.
- Unlimited UK text messages.
- 4GB of data per month

- We have fantastic UK customer support (via phone and email) 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (020 4524 0751) and you can contact us by email hello@chatsie.com outside these times (with a quick response) too.
- We will always guarantee you a high quality working phone.
- You are entitled to two replacement handsets during a 24 month period if your phone is lost or stolen.
How much
does Chatsie cost?
£19 per month (inclusive of VAT). If you are locked in a contract already and just want the handset, you can purchase it for £399.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! Through our referral program, you can save yourself and others a significant amount of money. Here’s how:
When purchasing a Chatsie device, purchasers are asked if anyone referred them. If your name gets entered we will apply to discount to you.
Once they purchase, you’ll receive 2 months of free contract (they’ll receive their first month for free too).
There is no limit for the number of referrals, so refer as many people as you like and keep enjoying the perks as a thank you from us. At the end of 2024, we’ll launch our brand ambassador program, where super referrers can earn rather than simply enjoy a contract discount. Contact us on

Can I become a Chatsie customer if I’m already in contract with another network?
You can buy the handset (£399) and put your existing SIM card in (inclusive of VAT).
Can I try the phone before I pay for it?
We’re not available in store just yet so unfortunately not. However, if the phone isn’t right, you can return it in a 30 day period and we’ll supply everything needed to return it very easily.
What is the money back guarantee period?
30 days from receiving your phone. If you decide it’s not right within that period, just email us on

You’ll receive all of your money back within 7 days of us receiving the phone.

Can I cancel my contract
Yes, you can! You have a 30-day window from the day you receive your phone to decide if it's right for you. That’s twice as long as most other phone companies give you.
After 30 days, your 24-month contract with us begins. You can find all the details in our Terms and Conditions on our website, here. Since it’s a legal agreement, if you default on payments or try to cancel through your bank, we may need to cancel your subscription and recover the phone, along with any remaining unpaid balance for the contract term.Don’t worry—this process isn’t immediate.
You’ll have plenty of time and notifications to resolve any issues first. If we don’t hear from you within 30 days of a default or forced cancellation, your phone will be locked, you’ll lose access to your network and Chatsie software, and your case may be passed to a debt collection agency.
How much is 4GB of data?
A lot! Unless you’re a very heavy data user, 4GB should be more than enough. It is good practice to connect to secure wifi instead of using data where possible however.

4GB of data can vary in terms of tangible usage depending on several factors, such as the quality of streaming, web browsing habits, and the type of apps used. Here's a general breakdown of what 4GB might afford you in a month:
1. Web Browsing: Around 3,000 to 5,000 web pages. The exact number can vary based on the complexity and size of the websites.
2. Social Media: Approximately 5-6 hours of social media browsing per day, assuming no high-definition video streaming is involved.
3. Music Streaming: Around 1 hour of music streaming per day if you're streaming at normal quality (around 96-160 kbps).
4. Video Streaming:Standard Definition (SD): About 4 hours in total for the month, which equates to roughly 8 minutes per day.High Definition (HD): Less than 2 hours in total for the month, which equates to about 4 minutes per day.Note: Video streaming is one of the most data-intensive activities, and the quality (SD vs. HD) significantly impacts data usage.
5. Emails: Thousands of emails without attachments, but considerably less with large attachments such as images and videos.
6. Online Gaming: Data usage varies greatly between games, but many modern games can use up to 40-150 MB per hour. So, gaming could consume a significant portion of 4GB if played frequently.
It's important to monitor data usage and adjust activities as needed, especially with activities like video streaming and online gaming, which can quickly consume data.
What should I expect to
receive in my box?

How do I buy a Chatsie phone as a gift for someone?
We’ll launch a formal gifting option in December 2024. Before then, follow these steps (this is only in place for handset only purchase vs contract until October 2024):
1. Make sure you put in YOUR email address in the contact information section
2. Put YOUR details in the billing section
3. Put THEIR details in the delivery section
4. Reply to the purchase confirmation email with the following:
- Their full name and relationship to you (helps us to double check we’re getting it to the right person)
- Their full postal address (again, we’ll double check this)
- A personal note if you’d like one included
The recipient will then receive the phone with your note (if applicable) and no receipt / price details so it very much feels like a “gift”.
After I pay for the phone, how long does it take to arrive?
If you have paid by card, expect to receive the phone in 2-3 days (we send them via First Class Tracked delivery).
If you have paid by direct debit, we’ll send you the phone when the payment clears (which can be up to 1 week) and it should arrive within 2-3 days from there.
How much is
postage and packaging?
We handle all of this, free of charge (including returns if needed).
My phone hasn’t arrived yet

and we’ll work quickly to get this resolved.
How do I keep my own number?
Simply select “I want to keep my number” when you’re buying the phone on Chatsie.com, type in your number, and we’ll handle the rest.
There
may
be a short period of time when your Chatsie phone is in transit and the number has transferred more efficiently than we’d like, which will temporarily leave you without service on your old phone. This is rare and if it does happen, will affect you for 24-48 hours.
A more likely scenario is the number porting takes longer than we’d like. That simply means you keep using your old SIM/handset until everything has been transferred (this process shouldn’t drag on for longer than 24-48 hours of receiving the Chatsie phone).

How do I transfer my contacts across?
When you purchase your Chatsie phone, you’ll receive a call from our team and we will manage this all for you. Everyone has their contacts stored slightly differently, so we’ll manage this on a personal basis, just for you.
Does Chatsie come in
different languages?
Unfortunately we’re just English speaking (for now).
How good is the coverage in my area?
Click on

link and type in your postcode. Our SIM / network is provided by Honest Mobile (part of the 3 Mobile network) so this will give you an accurate picture of whether you will have good coverage for your area.
