How do I take, send, and receive pictures?

Taking pictures

You can take pictures via the Camera app on your phone. 

1. On the Menu, under the “Shortcuts” section, you will see an “Open Camera” button. Tap that to now open the Camera.

2. Tap the large white circle at the bottom of the screen to take a picture.

Sending pictures 

The easiest way to send pictures is via WhatsApp.

1. If you don’t have it installed or set up, follow the guide here to do so.

2..Tap the name of the person who you want to send an image to.

3. Tap the small paperclip icon button on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

4. Then tap “Gallery” for an existing picture, or “Camera”, to take a new one.

5. Your images will then become visible here, and you can tap them to select them. Once you have selected an image, a small arrow will appear in the bottom right hand side of the screen, which is the “Send” button.

6. Once you press that, the image(s) you have selected will be sent to the person.

Receiving pictures

The easiest way to receive pictures is via WhatsApp. 

1. If you don’t have it installed or set up, follow the guide here to do so.

2. Tap the name of the person who has sent you a picture. If they have sent it recently, they should be on the screen, but you might have to scroll down for older messages on WhatsApp.

3. You can tap on the image to make it full screen from the chat.

4. Tap the three dots on the top right hand corner for more options. Here you’ll be able to tap “Save” to save the image to your phone.
